Marine RoomThis group is open to discussing all viewpoints and ideas. Topics are typically related to local, national, and global current events. This group meets every Tuesday at 10:00 AM for 60 to 90 minutes.

Fiber Arts
Do you knit, spin, crochet, embroider, felt, or practice other types of fiber arts? Would you like to work on your projects alongside other like-minded enthusiasts? This lively group is a great place to ask questions, share tips, and enjoy the company of other fiber artists. Meets on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays (when there is a 5th Tuesday!) at 3:00 p.m. in the library's lower level. New members are always welcome.

Midcoast Poetry Journal Vol. 2 Celebration
FeaturedThe Rockport Public Library Poets’ Corner will host a celebration of the second volume of the Midcoast Poetry Journal on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. in the lower level of the Rockport Public Library. The new volume is a collection of poems by nearly fifty Midcoast poets. The public is invited to enjoy readings by the contributing poets followed by an open mic. Copies of the journal will be available for purchase at the event (just in time for the holidays)! December Book Sale
FeaturedWhether you are looking for the perfect gift or curating a stack of cozy reads to get you through the winter, the deals and selection offered at the Friends of the Rockport Public Library’s December Book Sale are unbeatable! The sale will be held in the library’s lower level on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers can browse thousands of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, puzzles, vinyl records, and more! Most items are priced between $.50 and $5. For the ultimate bargain, visitors are invited to purchase a Friends of the Rockport Public Library membership for $20, which includes a new purple tote bag that can be filled, for no extra cost. The totes can be refilled at future 2026 book sales for only $10. Ask for details at the sale. All proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Rockport Library. It is commonly played by four players (with some three-player variations). This group meets on Fridays, at 10:00 AM for approximately 90-120 minutes.
